Solar cell – Basic principle (ES)
The basic principle of a solar cell is shown in simplified form.
Light that strikes a solar cell produces charges in the solar cell. These charges can flow off via the external electrical circuit and the fan moves. The strength of the current depends on the energy of the light and on the solar cell material.
