The Year of Water 2003 made us aware that the global shortage of water is leading to sickness, poverty and conflicts over water. Every solution must take social, economic, technological and ecological aspects into consideration. With some 150 media – including graphics, photographs, animations, videos and texts – this media package makes a contribution to learning about using water responsibly, to thinking in global terms and to understanding the suitable technologies. It covers a wide range of curriculum subjects and project topics.
