Description:
Industry 4.0 is generally understood as the digitalization of production. When systems controlled by artificial intelligence are used, this is referred to as a smart factory. AI applications can be integrated not only in production, but also in ordering and shipment. The production process (and possibly also ordering processes and parts of the shipment process) run largely automatically without assistance from people. At the same time, intelligent software helps proactively predict repairs and maintenance work. AI monitors the workflows from a central location.
