Description:
Information and ideas:
The objective of working through the scenario is to form an opinion about the opportunities and challenges of AI for society. For this purpose, it is not necessary for the students to understand the exact functioning of the AI system outlined in the scenario. Rather, it is important that the students work out and contrast the potential benefits on the one hand and the basic moral problems on the other.
For this worksheet, it makes sense for the students to first work through the “Artificial intelligence – Social trade-offs” graphic and the “Artificial intelligence – Social trade-offs, opportunities, and challenges” information sheet.
