Description:
The comparison of the different energy crops shows that some plants, like corn, rapeseed, and beets, contribute significantly to climate and environmental pollution. Their nitrogen requirement and the environmental pollution through herbicides, fungicides, and pesticides are high. For other plants, like straw, Chinese silver grass, trees, shrubs, and grass, the pollution is fairly low.
