Description:
Our eye processes light stimuli relatively slowly. We perceive a rapid sequence of more than 16 individual images as continuous movement, or as a film.
Information and Ideas:
• The teacher/educator should use a colored disk as a template to cut 2-3 circles of the same diameter from cardboard. Then, he should make a suitable hole in the middle of the colored disk so that a wooden dowel can be pushed through. The wooden dowel is the axis for the top. The top works best if the wooden dowel does not project from the colored disk underneath by more than 1 cm.
• Please observe the general safety and hygiene measures and safety instructions in the respective teaching methods as well as the applicable safety guidelines for your school.
• All materials mentioned in the instructions will have to be purchased directly from commercial sources.
