What does this mean?
How to reference this medium
The ear can be divided into three parts: outer ear, middle ear and inner ear. The pinna collects the sound which is then conveyed through the ear canal to the inner ear. There the sound is amplified because of the surface area of the eardrum relative to the oval window of the cochlea. The interaction of the ossicles (malleus, incus and stapes) produces a lever effect. The sound waves are transmitted into the cochlea where they are turned into electric signals. These are then carried to the brain via the auditory nerve.

The students should enter the corresponding terms in the relevant spaces and divide the ear into outer, middle and inner ear.
In addition, the drawing of the ear can be cut out and stuck onto the corresponding part of a child's head to get a three dimensional view.
