Light – how are colors formed?

English, German
...
This media package deals with the topic of color as a subsidiary area of optics in physics teaching and explains basic phenomena such as color formation, additive and subtractive color mixing, color splitting and color temperature. Two information modules explain the sensory physiology of color vision and act as interfaces to biology teaching.
All media files of the media package can be used flexibly from grade level 7 upwards, and some of the material is well suited for attaining a basic understanding of the quantum physics aspects of color in grade levels 10-12. Videos with simple experiments on color phenomena and two experimentation instructions provide support for practical, real-world-oriented teaching.
