Description:
Sometimes jokes are made about it, sometimes people are ashamed of it and keep quiet about it. Snoring is regarded to be unpleasant rather than threatening. Because levels of 87.5 decibels have been recorded (Guinness Book 1990) which is louder than car traffic (80 decibels), the danger is more likely to come from an angry partner. In fact, snoring can be a sign of life-threatening breathing problems.
