Oceans cover more than two-thirds of Earth’s entire surface. The largest continent is Asia at about 44 million km², followed by Africa (30 million km²) and North America (25 million km²). The largest of the oceans is the Pacific Ocean measuring 170 million km², followed by the Atlantic Ocean (87 million km²).
