Description:
Sound generator:
A generator which can be used firstly to create sound curves as a graphic curve form after presetting the frequency and amplitude. These can be saved as Wave files and played back.
Sound signal simulator:
By specifying the frequency, amplitude and time axis resolutions, the curve shapes of sounds can be simulated in a view like an oscilloscope.
Click on to open a menu in which must be selected as the wave shape. The frequency and amplitude must be set in the same menu.
Wave form analyzer:
Analyzes the wave shape of any sound files in *.wav format. Can be used in teaching instead of an oscilloscope.
Note: The program may stay in the background after starting. It can be brought to the foreground using the key combination Alt + Tab.
Information and ideas:
Can create a link with discussions about graphs in mathematics classes.
For use on worksheets, overheads, etc.
Relevant for teaching:
Sound/acoustics: parameters
Vibrations and waves
