The students should picture themselves in an imaginary world where there is no electricity. In our industrial society, electricity is taken for granted. Through the imaginary journey, the students are encouraged to become aware of the significance of electricity to our society. At the same time, they are prompted to compare the alternative with their current world and to evaluate both the positive aspects of electricity and the negative aspects with regard to dependence on electricity.
