Handout for “Service-Learning in STEM subjects”
Educational-didactic introduction for teachers to using “Service-Learning – Learning through Civic Engagement” in STEM classes.
The handout uses numerous case studies to explain how “Service-Learning – Learning through Civic Engagement” is used in science and technology classes, supporting primary and secondary school teachers in the development of their first service-learning projects. Note: The case studies were developed as part of a pilot project with teachers and document regional initiatives. They are designed to provide a source of ideas and motivation for teachers’ own projects.
