Description:
The experiments demonstrate how
• Water can be extracted from the air (experiments “Conjuring up water in the desert" and “Making your own watercone")
• Contaminated water can be purified by means of evaporation or membrane filter (“Separating a solution" and “Membrane filter" experiments)
• Hydrostatic pressure can be built up through the height difference between two water containers (“Water tower" experiment).
Important safety warning:
From the degree of difficulty, all the experiments can and should be carried out by the students themselves. Experiments in which students may injure themselves or others must, however, be carried out under the supervision of a teacher.
