The students should fill in an overview table of the characteristic variables for phase transitions. The name of the phase transition is specified for each row in the table; the remaining variables must be filled in:
• From state of aggregation
• To state of aggregation
• Attraction
• Temperature.

Four questions to check students’ understanding of phase transitions are then asked.
