Beschreibung:
The students can classify the statements on the worksheet as an “advantage" or “disadvantage" by coloring in a green or red traffic light accordingly. Yellow stands for “undecided" or “don’t know." In addition, the students should explain in their own words for whom the statement is an advantage or disadvantage (for example for himself/herself, for stakeholders, companies, workers, the environment/nature, etc.) and why.
Information and ideas:
The worksheet supports differentiated teaching. Of the ten statements, seven are for all students to work on, and three additional statements are for “fast" students.
The students should be sensitized to the fact that globalization is neither inherently “good" nor “bad." They should recognize that it depends on who benefits and who gets the worse end of the deal, and what role they themselves play in this.
