A bang is the result of a sudden, very short aperiodic vibration of great amplitude. The amplitude diminishes quickly as well.
Examples are a shot, the bursting of a paper bag or the banging of a door.
Information and ideas:
Suitable for demonstration purposes but also good for self-study on the part of the students. Idea: show the film without sound to begin with. The students should then guess what sort of noise/sound it might be.
