Description:
Our energy supply comes from a mix of different energy sources that are used in different proportions to supply energy.
The individual energy sources are presented and briefly described. However, reserves of fossil energy sources are limited or cannot be used due to the need to limit global warming. For this reason, it will be necessary to increasingly develop energy-efficient technologies and to widely use renewable energy sources.
Information and ideas:
What does dependency on energy imports mean and how could this problem be solved? To what extent could the more efficient handling of energy – generating, distributing, and using it – help here?
