Beschreibung:
The daily life of six children from different regions of the world is briefly outlined. (The countries are the United States, Colombia, Turkey, Russia, Italy, and Rwanda). Typical aspects of everyday life, such as favorite meals, daily routines, or leisure activities, are addressed. An exercise is also provided in which the students match the flags of the countries from which the children come to the individual children.
Information and ideas:
Based on the aspects shown, it is easy for the students to transfer their habits (children’s experiences) from themselves to other children and to recognize that children in other countries live “differently." The discussion about other cultures is an important aspect of globalization.
