Together in groups, the students are asked to pull different colored tokens from cups and to record the results in a table. Then they compare the results and suggest ideas why the results differ depending on the cup. These ideas will be checked based on the contents of the cups filled with different numbers of red and blue tokens. The findings are then reinforced in a cloze test using the terms that have been learned.
