Description:
The teacher instructions include information on the following: the main question, relevance to the curriculum, skills, notes on conducting the subexperiments, the research group, and further research assignments.
The experiment comprises two subexperiments:
• Our lungs
• Large and small air sacs
Respiration is one of the most important functional systems in the human body. In healthy people, respiration takes place completely automatically, which often leads us to forget about our respiratory system. Knowing more about the characteristics and function of the individual respiratory organs helps promote an understanding of good habits for keeping the body healthy.
Notes:
• Observe the safety information in the instructions as well as the applicable safety guidelines for your school.
• All materials mentioned in the instructions will have to be purchased directly from commercial sources.
