A sound is a mixture of periodic tones the frequency of which consists of a basic frequency and its integral multiples. In a violin piece for two parts, for example, several tones act in combination.
Information and ideas:
Suitable for demonstration purposes but also good for self-study on the part of the students.
Idea: show the video without sound to begin with. The students should then guess what sort of noise/sound it might be.
