The cards are meant to provide suggestions for active interaction between hearing-impaired and non-hearing-impaired children.
They give helpful tips for communicating with a hearing-impaired child: for example, avoiding disturbing background noise to prevent distraction, or ensuring good lighting so that facial expressions can be recognized and lip reading is easier.
