Beschreibung:
The teaching methods provide teachers with all the important information on using the worksheet of the same name and the related incremental hints in class. In order to complete the task, the students should know the states of aggregation of water and the transitions between them as well as the fact that these transitions are linked to the energy balance. In addition, they should be familiar with thermoregulation in living beings, for example, with sweating in people.
The panting process is explained. In addition, possible variations of the task are provided.
The six incremental hints for the task are provided with the corresponding answers. They are also available as a separate ready-to-print medium named “Why does a dog pant? (hints for printing)” or as an interactive medium named “Why does a dog pant? (interactive hints)” on the media portal of the Siemens Stiftung.
